This is all the stuff that was so watchable the first time. Done over. But at least it's nonlethal entertainment.. Like the hugely successful first film, the sequel provides pleasant, engaging if largely disposable entertainment for the general audience.. Bland sitcom romp based on the long-running comic strip features wisecracking canines in a beach-set family story.. Has a lot more stupid action -- and a lot less heart -- than the character-driven original.. I'm envisioning a sequel that joins...
